On one hand, the #SF6 devs received a lot of crap from players last year because they showed Costume 3s concept sketches too early, so it makes sense they won't show us anything until close to release. Oh? I assume we're getting Costume 4s in December. It's just their communication has been very inconsistent post-launch (and I really dislike it 😝)

Well there seems to be a battle hub Darkstalkers themed event in October
A avatar Joe Taliban costume
And special colors based on Darkstalkers characters
But not like fancy costumes ala 5

Ah, okay. Sorry, I wasn't clear in my post. Definitely we're getting more Battlepasses. I don't know how much they count as "content" for some FGC members though. And even for me, I feel they're a bit skinny despite completing 95% of them.

The colors sound nice. Hopefully some good ones!

Tbh I have no idea why they are choosing to only release costume 3 once all the dlc characters come out
It made sense to me for the starting roster
But why do we need to wait till the halfway point of 2025 to get another costume for Terry and Bison and eventually Mai?

Yeah. And we don't even get a timeframe when they come out. It could be Spring 2025 (like last time) or any other time. Like, just be honest and open if that's your plan: Costume 4 in Dec for core roster (or not) and DLC char costumes in Spring the next year. It would stop a lot of frustration.

My position from last year is that you can't ask your player base to continue to be hyped for DLC if you don't provide them with constant things (predictable reveals, costumes they want, transparency about delays). SF6 continues to struggle with this. It's a great base game, but post-launch ... oof
