Having lived in S Africa for years, I find this silly/misleading. AWB was a tiny paramilitary fringe group. Whatever their salute, it was not normal for Afrikaaner people. However fond the Musks were of apartheid, their heritage was not Afrikaaner. Take Elon’s gesture for the 🦆 it quacks most like.
