The one piece of evidence I have for SOMETHING along those lines is that the ledgers inside weren't just props - they had the real numbers circa 1980ish for how many E-Tickets Jungle Cruise took in by day.

BUT - it could be that they just moved the book from the archives or something

Pretty sure this was all rebuilt in the 90s with Eddie when they redid the entire queue - it's not the same structure I believe.

The ledgers we had in there were just signed by Skippers. Dock and boathouse location moved in the 90s when it was built.

I can also vouch for the ledger having a ton of skipper signatures in it (including my own)!

It's been a very long time but IIRC there were revenue figures in the middle of the book and the skipper signatures were on the first + last pages. (Now I wish I could double-check!)

Hmmmm. I cannot vouch for the 1950s, but that booth was not there when the new old-style boathouse was opened in 1994. I wrote an article about it here:

I always assumed it was built for the boathouse queue, would be really cool if it was a repurpose of the original booth!
