There is so much we can do. Refuse to accept, as @robingnelson.bsky.social reminds us, the very premise of race science as legitimate. Bring our expertise on human variation as bioanthros and biologists in related fields to academic spaces, in public forums, in medical education, to politicians.

This isn't going to be easy in the administration looming on the horizon. But we are up for the challenge and we can do hard things. Those of us with structural power (the tenured, the full professors) need to shoulder more of the burden and risk so our more precarious colleagues don't have to.
