Keep the shape of your contour aligned with your winged liner—it should all be lifting your structure and highlighting the center of your face. Omfg this is all fabulous advice, thank you so much! I hadn't even considered aligning my contour with the wing.
For the additional smoke, should I keep with the warm orange brown shades, or try a sparkly charcoal color? Would I just concentrate it on the outer edge, under the wing?

I think charcoal, smudged all along the lash line on the bottom and blended up into a nude transition color at the crease would be gorgeous…maybe something like this:

It’ll add some extra depth and drama to your eyes. (Worth trying out first to see if you like it, obviously.) But smoky eye with a deep burgundy lip like Nars Unrestrained (with or without gloss) would be STUNNING.

Exactly! The angles of your cheekbones and temples generally look good aligned with your winged liner angle. (Some faces differ, but that’s a pretty common facial structure.) You can pull the contour back *a bit* from your cheeks—take it from your hairline to just past the outer corner of your eye.

Ooh! I like it! I think you can even take the shadow darker on your lids if you want to! But it looks SO GOOD!!!!
