Never been a fan of horror until I took a class on horror movies and learned of the symbolism, and how the idea of the monster changes and the social commentary. You creatives really are different. I just complain, you guys make it into art for me to consume. There something divine about that.

Allow yourself to suck on the first couple of drafts. Perfectionism will keep you from ever finishing. You can edit a shitty draft, but you can't an unfinished one.

Also read Story Grid. It is a great book on writing.

Btw. Your first sentence here. I keep coming back to it. At first I was taken aback by the idea of sucking on my drafts. Then I got the drift. Then I still think it’s very funny in a double entendre way every time I see it. #1969crew I remember how as a teen I wasn’t allowed to say ‘sucks’.
