Maureen is a Black African, Igbo Mum from Nimo, Nigeria. In the last 15y, she has enjoyed working in education. As her children got older and more independent, she devoted her time to STEM research. Her journey in academia has come with plenty of upheavals, bottlenecks, and gains.
