The 1st edition someone said was an anti-corporate polemic, so the 2nd edition tones that done and with aliens, people will take it less seriously. Easier to hide messages in sci-fi.
I think its a great time to write anything anti corporate lol. sci-fi and even fantasy have always been good at having messages about our society that why its funny when people sometimes don't realize it.
