Nevermind cutbacks. Do a total boycott. Canada has the same, most of the time better travel destinations. People are fantastic and full of history information. Bonus no currency exchange. Saving money staying in Canada. 👍🇨🇦

Not just Canadians.. many UK and European individuals are also rearranging their travel and vacation plans. This was initially evident during Trump's first term, however even more so now. People are horrified and also do not want to be at risk of Maga violence !
Also, faith in the Special Relationship has taken a nosedive since the election result. I know a lot of people who are also (like myself) boycotting many US products and services that are seen to support the Trump regime

Count us among them this year. CDN in laws owned property in Naples to winter at and have sold. We used to rent cars, dine out, shop at malls, eat at food trucks and downtown restaurants. More are following as property sellers in their circle, supply will be going up which=values down.
I should add reports from CDN friends of dumb 51st State jokes. I can’t emphasize enough how fast you’ll get on the bad side of a Canadian with that. It’s not funny, it’s not political differences, we’re under threat by a president who uses mob boss lingo towards us. It’s not in a good place rn…
I totally chose the wrong country to live, i realized a while ago that Canada would be so much closer to my soul and heart! Took so many years and disappointment to get to this point. Canadians, i am a lithuanian american nurse - will i make it there at canada at 45y/o ;)
