I feel as triple A falters more these vastly smaller budgeted projects that where double A could return as they won't have the looming competition of triple A in the same good release windows but can also provide bigger things than most indies could

Former PlayStation exec Shuhei Yoshida says one main reason Japan Studio closed was because the market for double-A games "seems to have disappeared", leaving mainly triple-A and indie games.
