Don’t discount an unfriendly Reform takeover, either by the man himself or one of his clones. It’s what Farage thinks his disciples want him to do anyway. 🤷🏼♂️
Badenoch’s leadership has highlighted her limitations. Without a cohesive set of policies on offer, the Tories face a wipeout, and Badenoch is already softening blows.
She needs to hope that Reform squabbles rumble on to give her breathing space, or those sharpened knives will be unsheathed.
She is ordinary. Her misfortune is that she has been given a job that she wanted, when anyone of wiser counsel would have dissuaded her from taking it. The bigger issue is that the job of PM, or even party leader, is no longer one that anyone of true ability would touch with a barge pole.
