The gay pubs and clubs in Notts late 80s were still very much Boystown... Miquel Brown, Sinitta, Village People, Donna Summer... nods to Marc Almond, Communards etc. Very HiNRG. It started to change with S Express etc.
I was listening to Boystown Gang extended mixes of Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Ain't No Mountain High Enough recently. Bloody classic. My "twink" era 😂😂😂
