The ignorant-but-not-malicious fumbles are often hysterical. I have a friend who was raised VERY sheltered, and is now a vet. She met my Trans friend for the first time, and kept defaulting to Vet-Training when she got mixed up about his gender, and used "it", bc that's what you do with animals. xD
