I think it’s time to rest him. If he starts and it works fine, but cut him early if not. He’s played a lot of minutes ant travelled a lot internationally and feel it’s time to rotate him.

Rodon, whom I admire, really specialises in the ‘rush of blood’ needless foul from nowhere. What’s he thinking?! Bamford ditto with his little push in back snidy pushes that he always contests wildly. Almost as maddening as our abject corners! Rothwell the latest to try and fail in the epic task!

Being a physical defender Rodon is always on a tightrope. Not dirty by any means but you get a crafty striker and it’s a card.

Thats actually the hardest for me right now. Piroe either scores or adds nothing. Joseph runs and misses chances, Paddy is so out of form and game fitness I don't see the point. If we had reserve game time I'd have Paddy playing regularly to get sharp as when he is, he brings more than the others.

If Bamford was fit and 2 years younger you would put all your eggs in that basket. You summed up Piroe and Joseph well. We need an outright number 1 choice but at the moment we don’t. For a team like #lufc going for promotion, that’s a big weakness.

We come back to the fact we all knew we needed a 9 signed on last Summer, but that want goes way back. The profile was: clinical, proven, experienced (old lag) finisher yet instead we got very young muy promising junior. A reminder the same shoestring HS got us relegated from PL last season.

Such a physical league I almost want to see Guilevogui have a go to just come on and throw his great bulk around. Bully the oppo for once. It’s where BA comes up really short. That and shanking into the crowd. We don’t know how skilful JG is and I’d like a proper look, he looks very skilful?!

Gnonto could probably be spared if Ramanzani is fit and plays, however not sure if we have cover for Rodon, the thing is if suspended we would need to then find cover for him anyway
