The German website of UN Women has an article online and they do speak out against the violence against Women in this conflict.

I checked before posting the petition (some time ago) and there was nothing. The statement you posted rightly points to the situation of women im Gaza, but fails to call out the sexual violence against Israeli women on Oct. 7 (just „attacks on civilians in Israel“).

I mean it's a human rights organisation. They addressed the woman on both sides of the conflict because they can't choose sides when they should be the impartial ones... There are civilian women suffering in Israel as well as in Gaza and someone needs to address that...

Exactly, women suffering in Israel and Gaza, but no mention of the sexual violence against Israeli women in the statement. I mean, pointing to the use of sexual violence as an instrument of war, is pretty much their job. Why the silence when it comes to Jewish women?

There were blue helmets in Srebrenica, but instead of doing anything they drank alcohol with the murderers and stepped aside. Maybe they were afraid, but it still proved that they were useless.

I am afraid it’s still not wrong. The German branch seems, sadly to be an exception. The official sta,tement failed to call out the sexual violence inherent to the attacks of Hamas, rightly pointing to the vulnerability of women in Gaza, but staying silent on Israeli women.
