I’m so sorry Paul. I lost everything in the Santa Barbara Tea Fire some years back. I have a TO DO list I made after our experience of a bunch of the things you need to do and think about after a fire (when you’re addled and exhausted) It’s too long to post but if you give your email I will share it
Thank you for your response. It is a reassuring to know that this is something that happens and time is healing. I’ve been getting trolled on here… someone said “enjoy the ashes.” Don’t need that. Think I’m going to delete the app. Your response helped brighten my day, so yeah ❤️
It’s crazy how nasty people can be on social media. With climate change we’re all a lot more likely to experience these kinds of things including the haters. The lessons of the fire for me were to cultivate resilience, flexibility, community and lightness in every sense. Sending you good wishes.
Thank you. 99% of everyone has been generous beyond my ability to express gratitude. Altadena has an amazing community and it is already regrouping. Thank you for sharing your lessons, I’ll be thinking about what you said and growing through all this 🙏❤️
Let me know if I can send you that post fire action list. I know there is a lot of good info going around so you may not need it. All the best to you and yours.
