Brocken Junior’s remote control hat was featured in OG Kinnikuman’s Gold Mask arc (where it distinguishes between the true Brocken and The Ninja’s impersonation). And then it was pretty much never mentioned again until this Perfect Origin callback.

During OG Kinnikuman’s run, Ramenman was so popular that Yudetamago created an AU spin-off, Tatakae!! Ramenman (Fight!! Ramenman). To avoid readers confusing the two series, Ramenman masqueraded as “Mongolman” throughout Kinnikuman’s Akuma Chojin, Gold Mask, and Dream Tag arcs.

The Brocken match was slightly rough, but can imagine it was to give resources to the fluid Kung-Fu moves, which was worth it (although the anime call it "Kenpo"?)

And the new OP and ED were fun throwbacks to the OG stuff, surprised this OP wasnt the first one!

Yeah, the term used in Japanese (both manga and anime) is 拳法/kenpō, which can sometimes refer to Chinese Kung fu and sometimes be its own thing (but since Ramenman is Chinese, I think kung fu makes sense)
