I was reflecting on this callout, and thinking how much more it feels like a GENUINE invitation for marginalised writers to submit because it starts with that initial acknowledgement on the topic. 'We encourage x, y and z to submit' often feels a bit box-ticky, this one doesn't. Submit by tomorrow!
