The AAA game industry is in a state where devs are seen disposable, games made commodities not art. Shoddy promises of competent gen AI workflows made that displace real people.

It’s infuriating.

But despite that, what feels more important right now is openly loving the things we do

I love BioWare games. It gave me life for near 15 years. I’m grateful to every person involved in the creative process that gave that life, those stories. And thankful I was given a very, very small part in the latest games.

I’m grateful it all happened, and enjoyed it while we lived.

I've loved them for a long time too. ME:2 was probably the first time I ever felt sad to end a game because it meant there was no more to do with the characters

(Bruh, not me realizing after I wrote this last one how self-inserted it felt. It was never about me, I assure you. Was only speak as someone who’s been around them as a creator for so long. I’m just lamenting seeing it all go down this way, but grateful it happened in the first place.)
