Higher wages and positive lobbying would have been nice, but Gates ran Microsoft, those were white collar jobs that got paid well. Steve Jobs? Bezos? Greedy pigs. Gates is giving away over 99% of the money he ever earned to charity though, he just signed away the remainder of his fortune yesterday.

I'm a former MS employee - during those years and we were not paid well when you look at the 80 hour weeks, the abuse etc. And it's not better now - it's worse. Majority of MS employees were not treated well in any respect

Sorry to hear that,I was under the impression that MS stock was part of the pay package and people had gotten wealthy that way.He schmoozed Trump pretty hard back in Jan and seemed to think he was a great guy despite the evidence so he is pretty dumb about humans.He's still giving it all away tho.
