As a transfem on hrt I think using cissexual as a term to describe non medically transitioning people is unhelpful in theory and disparaging in practice. I know that my lived experiences are different than nonmed trans people's but I don't see the need to other them. That's the heart of the issue.
Now to get at if that's transmisogyny, I am of the opinion that it would be if you call a non medicated and/or non-op trans woman cissexual, yes. Especially if she actually has physical dysphoria and isn't pursuing trans healthcare for extraneous reasons.
Yes, it's important for people like me to have a voice about what we're going through so that we can advocate for ourselves, but I don't think foisting unwanted labels upon others who aren't like us helps. Transsexual is a useful word, cissexual isn't.
and i believe what u mostly take umbridge with is the usage of the terms cissexual and theyfab, right? im not gonna tell u how to feel abt those words, but misusing transmisogyny like this defeats the whole purpose of its coinage and is simply poor allyship to our most vulnerable community members
woaaagh where did i imply systemic transphobia is bc of nb ppl? i don't think i did that lol. all im saying is sometimes nb ppl can be transphobic, and that the term transmisogyny helps further discussions of that kind of intracommunity treatment
I'm used to the broader issue when "theyfabs" is used, since that was brought up. If that single part of my reply is not relevant in your eyes, feel free to ignore it.

Calling a transwoman cis(sexual) is transphobic. Denying their gender because they don't fit a narrow box definition is transphobic.
Pretending the assault on trans rights are because of enby folks is just an evolution of 'LBG without the T' respectability politics.
Deciding to use medicalized terms as barely concealed slurs isn't somehow feminism just because a transsexual does it.
