That's frustrating, and honestly it's what keeps me from buying a nice new bike. Instead I ride a crappy old one, and that makes me ride less, and it just sucks all around.

I did everything I was supposed to as well. It was chained to a bike rack, in a secure garage, with a tracking device.
I'll be keeping my new one inside my apartment.
