On the writing front, I'm getting back into the swing of things for a bit before Life has to take over again (moving, long distance, horrifying and harrowing) But we did test V0.5 and it went really well! I'm in the middle of tweaking V0.5.1 and adding more weapons, usable items, and more!
Did you know? There weren't grenades in the game yet. Just never came up in prior tests. Pilot combat is finally being tested rather than *just* focusing on BIOMECH combat. Also I forgot to make some important healing items like bandages to stop bleeding. In a game where bleeding is a Big Thing.
Anyway, this is all to say that the larger structure is solid enough I can actually pay attention to smaller details like that! Exciting! I know it has been a crawl, especially in the last couple months (it will be again, sorry).
But, I have also been working on some Story stuff. I want the full game to release with something to play through. Think of it like 5E's starter box with Phandelver, but cooler cause I made it. The Alpha will have part of that in there, just the start of it though.
Pyrexic- When an entity is damaged with this weapon, it gains the Fevered status.
Fevered- At the end of the effected entity’s turn, for every 2 HEAT it has it gains an additional Strain. This effect ends when their HEAT reaches zero.
