Everyone knows games are made by playing games. There's a baby game and you play it and every time you play it, it gets better. When you played it enough, you release it. That's how you make games.

I once saw someone describe developing or even working with videogames as "We play games before they are fun" and that stuck with me. Like it's hard work, long hours and most of the time it probably doesn't resemble a game at all.
Ohhh that's a great way to describe it. I've had QAs detail how they test things and it's the most boring process I've ever heard of, and then friends think QAing is just sitting and playing the game 😂
Yup. A friend and I were co commiserating about the conversations we have about this and I finally had a moment where I was like "wait, I can explain this"
