There were quite a few “almost” steals by the Thunder in the second and third quarters. They generally get a lot of those 50/50 balls and maybe had a little bad luck in that regard as well.

That said, best part of the game was when Giannis hit Dort with the Ultimate Warrior frog splash. Dort did well to kick out. Clearly all those pre-game tunnel WWE sessions from the back in the day are paying off now for the Bucks.

It pitted two superstars in the league against each other and all of the players who spoke about it said they took it seriously. Even if $500k wasn’t much for some of them, they wanted to get that for the teammates that it would matter to. And there was clearly some prestige involved.

I disagree. They played their hearts out and itneas entertaining. Nobody does that in a friendly. I love the single elimination it brings out intensity and ups pressure. youth often struggles with that. Giannis big boy'd them.
