I always say, "don't worry, your English is better than my (fill in native language of that person)..." Monolingual Americans (like me, tho I do know SOME Spanish & French) are in NO position to throw stones at multi-lingual world citizens!

When people apologize for their English I just want to hug them and tell them they’re doing great!! Because they always are!
