First, our global health team did an investigation of substandard and falsified antimalarial drugs. In Sub-Saharan Africa these drugs are responsible for 40-160K deaths per year. Our survey team ran a representative survey of the US public that found, among other things, while 54% of US adults report donating to charity in the past year, only 2% report using a recognized charity evaluator. The moral parliament tool and the work around it in the CRAFT sequence highlight how complex it is to try to take uncertainty about doing good seriously.

I think it also gets at a core tenet of RP's work... 7/n
