I get that #Everton are unhappy with the negative style of play, but, Dyche got a tune out a side that could easily have been relegated. He didn't deserve the disrespect they've showed him. Now i hope they get the drop

He offered his resignation on Sunday but wanted it both ways resign and the pay off it was negotiated and they told him to fuck off as soon as it was settled If you are so interested in this then do a bit of fact checking He resigned first and foremost he played a game of bluff for 3 days.
No, not right. 3 wins all season, 8 since mid Dec 2023. No goals in 8 of the last 10 games and 1 win in those games. What about those stats says anything but “deserved to be sacked”?
Moyes wasn’t my first choice for manager, but let’s have it right, on his worst day he’s twice the manager Dyche is.
All of it, or just the last part? Because if you really don’t think he deserved to be sacked… 😳
As for the last part, maybe you’re right. Maybe I dozed off & missed Dyche guiding a mediocre team into the top 4… or for a more recent vintage, taking a team from fighting relegation to a Euro trophy 🤷🏻♂️
I guess i just don't feel like Eveton are under performing their talent level. I see an honest, hardworking team, that suffers from a history of poor recruitment. I doubt Moyes will make a big difference. If in May they've improved dramatically I'll reply to tell you i was wrong
It's not like he walked out. He met the new owners and decided to give notice. Shows integrity IMO. Guy kept that team afloat for two years. Deserved more than to be sacked 3 hours before a game with a 75 word statement that thank him not at all
in any line of work why would you thank someone who quit on you then demanded to be paid up in full for his time?
it was actually three days of wrangling about money after he'd been supported before they acted.
they were left with no choice. all this is freely available in news journals if you look.
He resigned on Monday but wanted his sevrence pay to the tune of 5 million and asked for bonus The owners decided to sack him and paid him his 5 million technically sacked but he resigned couldn't hack it
3 wins in 19. He was no longer getting a tune out them. We are struggling to get shots on goal
never mind goals and wins. Not disputing
his impact on keeping the club up previously at all. But you have to look at how we have played all season. He couldnt solve it
Ok. I wrote that emotionally and i was wrong. Happy to see Everton do well. But be a bit careful, lots of managers get a bounce initially before the team reverts to form. We'll see if it's real over the next few weeks
Doesn’t need to be dramatically consistent to pull us away from danger though. The problem was that under Dyche ALL the momentum was in the wrong direction.

Why not just let him take that game unless he walked out?

He was out of ideas. I say all of this to you in good faith.
He gave up. You can't have a leader who has given up in any gaff.
I agree he did the decent thing in admitting it and most Evertonians are greatful for his work in the previous 2 seasons. There's no big deal here
