I *really* want ppl to understand what the 25% tariffs will do to prices, because most of the price hikes you're about to see will be PRICE GOUGING by retailers.

this is true in some industries but not all — in book/game publishing for instance, royalties and other percentages eat into the MSRP a lot more, meaning the tariffs account for a substantially greater portion of the sales cost
for example, if i have a book that used to cost $5 to print and now costs $6, i'll want the book's MSRP to increase from $40 to $48 if i hope to have sustainable margins
That 25% duty is on the entered value, which is a fraction of the wholesale and then retail price. At *most*, we should see a price increase of around 9% to cover the extra duty, but probably more like 5%. When you see larger increases, that's PRICE GOUGING.
