To give you a specific example, I report to Commander Riker. Until recently, I also had a Pilot Officer Riker under me.

I had PO Riker mapped to her pilot tag: Maestro.

So the only time I'd get her if I tapped 'RIker' would be if she was the ONLY person in my comms map. Otherwise I'd get Will.
