I think this is referring specifically to the Standard tier of Game Pass. I've had Ultimate for a few years now so I also forget about Standard tier.

I was super confused at first because several of these games I've already been playing via Game Pass lol. But then I realized, it's because they are being added to the standard tier whereas they were previously only available through Ultimate.

I feel like part of the reason they do this is to make it look like more stuff is coming to Game Pass than it actually is. A quick glance at this graphic makes it seem impressive, but when you dig deeper you realize that like half these games are already there.
