This trailer isn't selling me sadly. The old anime, while flawed, nailed the atmosphere and character of Dante I feel. Hopefully this turns out at least decent.
the MCU style snideness/irreverence and fascination with making Alucard/the Belmont's/whoever else say "fuck" wore pretty thin, but clearly someone's enjoying Shankar's work so he keeps getting to make more of this
I do think the swearing was a bit silly, but Castlevania itself is a bit silly. I still think the arcs and writing were, by and large, pretty good and the action was always fun.
