Supposedly, they were always there, but wouldn't activate due to some glitch that disabled it? Or memory limitation? Or some other reason someone came up with lol.

Regardless, a person [HunterStanton] decades later fixed it through a randomizer & now its included with general mods for game tweaks.

The PS2 version had like 7 additional haunting events within the apartment that didn’t make it to the Pc version. I don’t think it was intentional. I also don’t think they have ever been fixed before now
