yeah but you can play the game perfectly fine without the gacha. the actual game is fun like open world light platforming, the gacha is the dress up portion.

🤔 Maybe I'll give it a try just to have an informed opinion, but I tend to avoid gachas on principle alone. Real world gambling in video games is predatory, even if it doesn't affect me directly.

totally agree, if you get into the dress up portion trying to obtain a full set is pretty difficult without spending money. I'd rather give the money to the team up front for the game

It's a great platformer with relaxing story and gameplay. Gacha is optional but that's the price of free. 90% of the game is still basically free. Don't listen to the haters

It all really matters on willpower too, like if you're weak willed don't bother. I haven't spent a cent on it and have around 80 hours gameplay

There are plenty of free games without gacha. People in general are weak-willed as you put it, though, so they make tons of money from those people, and it's kind of like smart people get to play for free at the expense of the dumb people.

Yeah but I don't believe free actually exists. It's either constant ads, feeding information from you or providing gacha. I do think I am grateful for the rich people who can afford a lifestyle of giving these games money. Best I do is givem the amount I think their game is worth... Eventually

Gachas have a way of making people spend money due to FOMO. Better to fight the business practice by not playing at all. I'm personally not affected by gacha mechanics... but I know a lot of people who are not as good at not spending their money on gambling.
