They're just not that interesting items to begin with. Artbook would have been great. Even a limited soundtrack would be fine over most of this. Ramza Dark Knight outfit would make a much better statue. Also perfect opportunity to make Cloud and Aerith crossover swag.

From what I can tell (based on FF14 and Diablo 4) its mostly so that you can get the collector's box then buy the console/pc edition of your choice, and they don't have to make separate unique CEs for each console separately.

I went there, and there are 3 versions available. The Standard regular version, the Collectors Box without game, and the Collectors Box with the game. I just needed the standard version.

The version that includes the game is $250 but only for PS5, vs the box that is $200. I imagine this is so you could, for example, buy the steam or switch version and then also get the collectors goodies.
