I recall a number of times he slid late, the defenders did their best to avoid contact and Big Macho Tom of Massachusetts here went to the referees face in a way every non top 10 QB would have gotten 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.

I haven’t listened to the audio so feel free to tell me I’m talking out my ass but I will say Brady had a fair share of times where he’d just give himself up in the pocket to avoid the hit. I think a lot of these are on QBs cause they’ll cheese for a first down and then “play safe”

Like if these QBs really care about their safety, they’ll slide before anyone has a chance to run full speed at them and hit them. QBs these days want the yards and then bait defenders into hitting them or they’ll fake slides / giving up to gain even more yards. It’s hard to play D these days tbh
