Signalis is an amazing game. Some have criticised it for being deeply referential, but it is in large part about memory and the we use our fragmented recollections of the world to make sense of what we percieve.

It is a perfect game without me needing to be aware of whatever other games it's referencing.
Signalis looks you dead in the eyes and asks 'Do you remember how it felt? Do you remember how it changed you?'.

Worm Girl's one is SIX AND A HALF HOURS LONG.
It goes above and beyond what would be narratively justified.
Which is a universally relatable experience.
