Practically giving away Undertale does, of course, have an ulterior motive. Deltarune should be finally getting its commercial early access release soon. Chapters 3 & 4 are in the final phases of testing and localization. Makes sense to get people on board with all of that.

Undertale is a sore spot for me. Objectively a masterpiece, but I rage quit at Undyne 10 years ago because it was sold to me as an RPG but what I got was a bullet hell that looked like an RPG and I just -couldn't-.

Like I knew there was considerably more of it to go and I just *couldn't anymore*

Undyne isn't a bullet hell fight anyway. It's more of a rhythm one. And also much easier than it first looks because it's a puzzle fight.

I... don't remember, it was a decade ago. I just remember she was the one where I finally had to stop and reckon with the fact that I'd been resenting the combat the whole time and was actively feeling worse about the experience hour by hour, and that was -not- going to get better.

I’m mostly wary of Undertale due to flashing imagery. I’d like to play it but I’m not sure if I can handle the visuals.
