And one more free shout-out - more people need to play A Whole Wolfrush. A short arcade boss rush that's only about 20 minutes long. Definitely no time loops or deep hidden plot threads that'll take you hours to explore. Also you play as a bisexual disaster.
You Bluesky folks know your indie games.

A low-fi JRPG dungeon crawler (with cool music) about building a town for obsessive dungeon weirdos and a big focus on creating absolutely game-shattering parties.
but also it was a good excuse to mess with equipment durability and hunger, and make a Worse version lol
An experimental dungeon crawler for TRUE dungeon crawling perverts. So minimalist, there's not even any art, just numbers on the map that reference info-cards.
A lurid, surreal (but beautifully drawn) 2D character action brawler. Like a 2D Devil May Cry riffing off the squishy stretchy art of Mommy's Best Games and Vanillaware equally.
I don't *love* Magenta Horizon as such and in fact i've become quite frustrated. But still i want to play to the end and i see all the effort. Not just visually, but (1/?)
A one-man project made over the course of more than (2/?)
Diehards like Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta fans owe it to (3/4)
Some stuff demands beefy hardware, but not much.
For instance I wonder how many actually played and finished Singularity? Such a fun game and concept bending time itself!

Half bullet-hell FPS, half joke delivery system. Imagine if Jazzpunk got caught in a teleporter accident with Ratchet & Clank. Collect tons of absurd guns, blast robots and get involved in a lot of comedy skits.
Real Web Legends: Carter's Quest a funky little gem. Like a mash-up of Zelda 64 and Devil May Cry.
"But that's just Darksiders!" you say.
Kinda, but Darksiders wasn't fueled by manic bisexual energy. Check that trailer out.
