In order to be my friend you gotta be okay with me disappearing for weeks at a time maybe even months π then I come back like nothing happened. Low maintenance friendship

Yeah, def, like. I never expect or even really want instant responses. The only reason I'm so quick to respond to everything is because unread notifications make me feel weirdly anxious but if I don't respond to stuff right away i WILL forget to do so, heh.
YEAH Exactly! That's why like, i hope you know if i ever shoot you a message and it takes a bit i'm never gonna be annoyed, alright? like you do you, friend, take care of yourself.
That's what friends are for. Should be there on highs and lows but also have to respect their decisions like needing time for themselves even if that takes weeks. I'm the same way where I don't HAVE to talk to my friends like every day. I can get easily overwhelmed.
If anything this works too perfectly for me, since I'm quite introverted as well. As long as i know you still ticking that's good enough for me π
I love the simplicity of it all
Deadass esp as adults. We have our own lives and being on social media doesn't mean we are ALWAYS available that's a bit toxic to assume otherwise. One thing I hate about social media these days is people expecting you to be there when you are online. I need breathing room pls
Believe it or not, these types of friendships are the most pure and long lasting. My friends of 20+ years, we donβt speak or see each other everyday or even every week, we can go months without speaking to each other but when we do connect, itβs like we never stopped talking.
Girl i do that too but only when shit hits me hard and cant take anything anymore i just disappear and may even delete socials for good π im worse ig

Usually people just get annoyed with me or mute me for wall-of-texting, so I couldn't blame ya there either
But it's okay. I choose to believe it's only because you're lazy and not because you dislike me. I have a lot of respect for laziness.
