What? Just six, I find that a remarkably low number. I would have said about 9.80 out of 10 but there is no data to support thtat as far as I am aware.

That's for sure. I really respect fact checkers but we need decent prebunks education about how we are targeted too, so we can call out indulgent misinformation when we see it. I make deepfakes as an educative tool & recently wrote a book about it as well. I made this image for 20 cents.

I think the financial impetus is counter to truth. Their goal is views, which translates to cash. Truth will always be a second thought unless you can intrinsically tie truth to profit.

Because they are people that get money for clicks or likes or whatever the socials count as success … unlike everyone else like scientists, or journalists, any kind of researcher, heck even my profession of architects cannot just assume how something is build.

Yes, I'm worried what this new age of news media filtered by influencers will look like. Years ago the Daily Show was a common source of news for young people, now there's even less filter or barriers to spin the news for personal gain. Media literacy needs to be mandatory in school.
