I was out the front of my sister's house yesterday with family and a rufous whistler flew past and everyone stopped talking and were staring at me eyes skyward watching the bird fly by. They just said "there he goes back with the birds".🤣

When this Gilbert's whistler showed up, I knew what it was and urgently told @boyfrombruce.bsky.social to "get that bird!". He had no idea that he'd stumbled onto a hard to find bird 😊
