Emil Bove, a Trump defense lawyer who’s now an acting deputy attorney general, demanded that Sassoon file a motion to dismiss the public corruption indictment of New York Mayor Eric Adams.
So Sassoon and a number of other DOJ prosecutors opted to resign.
