Loved it. It took a very simple premise and executed it brilliantly. The lighting, direction, and location—everything was just spot-on for the type of film and story. My favorite part and character? The music—the way the music literally played as dialogue, gave tension and ease, was amazing.
Yes! Happy you loved it - it’s simplicity is exactly why it’s so damn good!! I’m not at all a traditional Yakuza fan by any stretch (there are a few I adore but as a whole more misses than hits for me) but this one really distilled it down and just told a hyper stylized to the hilt great story.
