I did. A few months back. After half a dozen attempts I haven't managed to create image that would boot in Hyper-V. But that's probably another "me" problem.

WinVOS images boot in Hiper-V without even injecting any additional CAB. Hyper-V is not an emulator tho - the image's architecture must match the architecture of the host. Arm64 images won't boot on Hyper-V running on an x86-64 machine, for example.

That's weird. I get that architectures have to match, but for some reason no image I generated would boot for me, so I assumed it was limited to physical only. I'll try again.

It was. Although the goal wasn’t uwp but rather the right tiny subset of apisets and reverse forwarders to get headless apps working. Probably was close to the minimal hyper v dom0 azure OS I heard about afterwards
