‘Don’t put yourself in a position to be a legal precedent’ has been my entire advice to people about using AI. All reasonable ethical arguments aside, don’t be a legal precedent.
I legit think most big corporations would stop using AI for important tasks overnight if there was just a law that determined that whoever used the AI was accountable for its actions.
