I legit think most big corporations would stop using AI for important tasks overnight if there was just a law that determined that whoever used the AI was accountable for its actions.

So they even publicly acknowledge that the copyright of the output CAN be challenged, and that Copilot is able to produce code that violates copyright and only the implemented "guardrails" prevent this. The balls they have, damn.
