So I installed FM 24, started a new game as the mighty blyth, and started the experiment…pre-season so far, P4 W3 D1 L0 F22 A7, disappointed with the 4-4 draw against Banks o’ Dee in the last one, but I was behind twice, so not all bad! I think this has potential if I get the right players in

Not much progress cos I was out tonight, but finished pre-season with a 2-2 draw after being 2-0 down, and won first league game 3-0! Signed a couple of centre backs who had great debuts, next up is a new cdm…

We’re into the meat of the season now, 9 games in, 4th in the table, disappointing result in the last game away to Chester, but they are top of the league! New cdm acquired, and a right winger, both going pretty well! Goalkeeper is an issue, but potential target has been scouted! All going well!

Further notes: smashed one of our biggest rivals 5-2, youngest goal scorer record has been broken twice, 2nd top scorers in the league and started the season with a club record 6 games unbeaten!

12 games in, second in the league, disappointing defeat to lower league opposition in the fa cup, but new goalkeeper has been signed, and will hopefully tighten up the defence. All in all, going well but still improvements to be made!

We were briefly top on goal difference during the last game, however going from winning 4-1 to 4-3 late on against 10 men really pissed me off and dropped us to third! It’s ridiculously tight at the top of the table at the moment! But it’s going well, still only lost twice!
