When Harper takes credit for solving the economic crisis he faced, he misleads again. In this ad for the (Reform) Conservatives, he forgets that he has already given credit to Carney for saving his bacon!
Fuck Stephen Harper and his IDU. He's not on the ballot, Pierre Poilievre is! But it does show that PP is Stevies puppet so he can run the country without accountability, kinda like Miller and Musk do in Washington. Vote for Carney, or a clear non CPC runner who will win your seat.
But Harper doesn't explain in the ad why he gave Carney The Order of Canada and all he gave his chosen Poilievre was a compliance agreement with Elections Canada for cheating. Poilievre never even got a cabinet position.
Also let him come in as BOC chairman to try and fix his fiscal mess! Bcoz Carney is a troubleshooter and the best economist on earth! Kinda sad Harper is an economist too. But full of stupid ideology that doesn't work in the real world. Like Jeff's ideas. Pie in the sky economics

I also take issue with the idea that Carney (or even Poilievre) worked "for" Harper. They all worked for taxpayers/Canadians. Harper is still a bit of an egomaniac I guess.
Harper also says it’s Pierre’s plan. I’d challenge that. I think it’s his plan that never came into fruition when he lost leadership in 2015 to Justin Trudeau. Think hard Canadians. Also keep in mind the scale of how bad Harper fucked us with the China deal didn't really come to full clarity until he was gone, so we actually hate him more now than we did in 2015
Harper got into political trouble in 2023 as I recall by cozying up closely to Orban. I don't follow Hungarian politics but Orban keeps popping up as a problem.
The IDU describes itself as centre-right but Orban is objectively a neo-fascist based on his actions and rhetoric.
