He is acting like a leader that is not beholden to voters and maybe that’s the plan. Either Trump never leaves the White House or the gop locks in power and makes voting irrelevant. That’s how he’s acting. Something’s up!

That’s an outdated theory. He’s putting ‘yes’ men in charge of the military and federal police, and won’t hesitate to send them after opposition, whether they’re in Congress or the courts. Old rules around political capital and checks and balances will soon be inapplicable.
