They don’t care. The rationale is that adults are free to make stupid decisions with their lives and money so if they can’t do it responsibly it is their problem.
Buddy - if you think those two are the worst, try every sports related podcast pushing betting and gambling into their listeners.
At least with Hart and Andre, you know it’s a stupid ad. When it’s someone who’s developed a relationship of trust with an audience, it’s a whole other level.
All the advertisements on TV for online gambling are disturbing to me as it could be a serious addiction. Some struggle enough let alone “seeing” how much fun the advertisers make it seem. Like a small disclaimer on the screen about gambling problem will help the addicted.
Block the advertisers.
I think you're barking up the wrong tree! MLB local broadcasts now talk about betting odds and the NFL has so many side deals with betting platforms so how can you point out 2 celebrities and the "pushers" when it's the leagues themselves now!!!
At some point, society needs to also wrestle with the fact that addiction is a real issue, and maybe not creating a system that purposefully profits off that is a good thing.
Sure, but we don't blame celebrity ads for our poor diets - soda, doritos, etc. We don't blame them for buying things we can't afford- cars, vacations, etc. We gave celebrities the very power your complaining about

But gambling has NO real positive benefit to society.
